I did. I saw through the bullshite after about the first three weeks of covid - by mid-April 2020. I stopped all compliance except mandatory stuff, and had a great year traveling and vacationing. Even on airplanes, which I was on a lot, I would make the flight attendant tell me to wear the mask. Then I would keep taking it off until threatened with arrest.

But when it came to the vaccine I took it because I would not have been able to travel to see my new grandson in the UK. I had zero fear of covid and had already had it with mild flu-like symptoms. I correctly evaluated that the vaccine was not harmful, so it was not a big deal to me, other than pissing me off.

There is still a bunch of right wing nut jobs who think the vaccines were more harmful than they were, in spite of data that overwhelmingly refutes that. They are correct, though, when they assert that the vaccines did little to stop the spread. Wrong again when they assert that the vaccines did not prevent harmful outcomes from covid.

These are the scientific facts. Different points will will offend ideologues of the right and left, but they are facts nonetheless.

The biggest pussies on the planet during that time were sports journalists.
