He said a lot of big things yesterday before he walked over to the church. Instead it was just more of the same chaos with police officers getting run over and getting shot. Love Trump, but a lot of talk and not much action tonight. This country simply cannot keep going on like this night after night

He’s been pinned in a corner. If military or police kill a rioter he’ll ge compared to hitler. He’s hoping citizens will do it for him.

He said he was going to give the local governments an opportunity to finish this. Action likely comes today

Any of those governors could stop it right now. All they have to do is give the orders to shoot.

I also was disappointed that he stopped short and allowed another overnight of mayhem.

It wont end till protestors are killed en masse in one major city.

The networks will be inundated with HE WAS A GOOD BOY/GIRL, GONNA BE A DOCTOR, and at least 50% of them will be white.

But we the people will know... they made their choice.

Yes, unfortunately a lot of people are going to die.

The only thing I’m concerned with at this point is rural areas breaking out into violence.

Rural areas won’t be in violence long.
Rural areas are some of the least racist you will find. Those people break blood together on a daily basis to sustain life

It was obvious within 30 minutes of his speech that the Democrat governors were going to resist. I was shocked.

So the ball is in the President’s court after they called his bluff without blinking an eye. If he doesn’t literally pull the trigger before Tuesday night, he will officially be weaker and more impotent than Jimmy Carter.

Big words, thought surly you had the solution. Seems to me Democrats are exploiting the situation to box Trump into having to make the hard decisions, then they’re all set to pounce on him, blame him for any punk rioter that’s hurt or killed. Poor innocent sweet child. Trump’s in a lose lose situation, damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t. While governors and mayors are content to see people’s livelihoods be destroyed and worse, innocent people hurt or killed. They could care less about those citizens. So go ahead be disappointed in Trump and give the local authorities a pass.

How in the world are you extrapolating that the OP is giving local authorities a pass?

Everyone all around is handling this horribly. I am not sure what the answer, but when the POTUS who campaigned on being the 'Law & Order' President then I expect him to keep his word. It is pure chaos right now and NOBODY is stepping up

Nothing will be done. Not by our government leaders; not by the people. Everyone of us are just going to sit back and take it.
