9th Circus Judge asks SCOTUS to "benchslap" his colleagues

Trump appointee Lawrence VanDyke really wants SCOTUS to give the 9th Circuit a stern talking to about how it continues to go against the 2nd Amendment
That stern talking to would come via the form of SCOTUS summarily reversing the 9th Circuit on 2nd Amendment cases... essentially telling the 9th "you did it wrong... try again" without even a hearing
Judge VanDyke went on to say his colleagues on the 9th "need reps" writing opinions upholding the 2nd Amendment... which would be forced on it by SCOTUS with summary reversals
That all came in a dissenting opinion written by Judge VanDyke in the case of Knife Rights, Inc. v. Bonta
13+ minute video below going through some of the highlights in Judge VanDyke's opinion... the presenter says he would like to see Judge VanDyke get some mention as a potential SCOTUS justice should an opening arise during the next few years
ETA: apparently "benchslap" is a real term in the legal community
