No reason not to, we have the best 1-2 punch in the league (Martin /Mickey) Quarterman has turned into an elite PG. It seems like Hornsby and Patterson can't miss from 3 most of the time. Calling it now boys, we will make a deeeep run In the NCAAs.

Not turning the ball over 20 times a game they won't. All the talent in the world, but very careless with the ball at critical times.

We should make the tourny i think. Sweet sixteen at best i think. If m and m come back we will have kentucky type talent next year in my opinion

It all depends on what seed, what teams in the bracket.
I'd rather get a 12 seed than an 8-9, and have to play the #1 seed the 2nd game, as a de-facto home game , 2009 we got fricked

Usually only very well coached teams with good defenses go far in the tournament...but LSU does seem to be improving a little as a team...

We certainly root for that to happen, but still a lot of basketball to be played yet.

No one thought the 2006 team was going to the final four.
They have plenty of talent and can run teams out of the gym in transition like in the Florida game.
Getting those easy baskets like that are key in the tournament.

This team doesnt have the talent to make an elite 8, let alone the coaching. Im not trying to shite on Coach Jones but everyone knows his area of expertise is recruiting.
To make an elite 8 run takes luck, talent, coaching, and good guard play.

If everyone on this year's team stayed, we add our top 5 class from next year, AND add a top 10 class in 2017 we still wouldn't have Kentucky talent. Kentucky has 10 McDonald's All Americans on their their team. They have future lottery picks on the bench.
