Anybody recommend places to eat around Branson. TIA

I can. We were there last month.
The College of the Ozarks has an absolutely excellent restaurant. This college has no tuition, but everyone works. It is a few beautiful miles from Branson and is run by culinary arts students (supervised.) Food (presentation and taste) is excellent and prices are very reasonable.
I'm not making this one up - The Rowdy Beaver is well worth a stop, but be hungry. Very good food and large servings.
McFarlain's has great pies.
