Keep having to remind myself that just cuz some guy is posting an 18foot jon with a center console for 40,000 it doesn't mean thats what comparable boats are actually selling for. Slapping new astroturf and interior lights on some of these shitcans is just putting lipstick on a pig.

facebook, but not marketplace. Join owners groups for the boats you like. Members regularly post what they are selling. I don't like marketplace bc there seem to me to be a lot of fake listings and I don't feel like sifting through that bullshite.

I did find my boat on craigslist, but it's generally a terrible source for boats.
