This is why I have the premium version of windy. I don't use it as much now, but in Alaska, having real time data from local weather stations was important (especially since we did not have any radar service because of the mountains).

I toss my dog out the door first thing in the morning. If she comes back in wet its raining. If she is panting its hot. Works pretty well.

I use several forecasts online and plan accordingly, assuming that somewhere in the middle is pretty close. This past weekend none of them called for it to rain nearly 23 out of 24 hours three straight days. My dog was wrong also....but she was spot on in real time....
