I've heard that some of the tastes buds will come back. That's coming from a recent neck radiation patent. He's been out about a year from it and said he can taste more stuff now but anything with vinegar in it like ketchup or mustard lights his tongue up.

He had a helluva ordeal. He had cancer in his jaw. They removed his jawbone and replaced it with a bone from his leg.

So no more ketchup for you?

My uncle had sinus cancer and he as well said the taste buds eventually started coming back around after time.
