Serious question here, why is there a market for a large walk/stand behind mower when you can sit down mow? Does it cut better? Maneuverability? Personal preference?

Because the walk behinds with the sulky are easier on your body because you can bend your knees on rough terrain and also you can duck under branches.

CubCadet CC 760 ES

I recently got this after my CubCadet ZTR was stolen. I love it.

Toro also has a nice 30" model. It's not nearly the mower that the 760 is, though.

Weigh a lot less. Cheaper.

Bumping this, did some work and am getting a walk behind mower in trade.

Leaning towards the cub cadet.

How does it do with wet grass? I can cut my yard with a normal push mower, but like others here, I value my time more than cutting grass. Looking for faster cuts, especially since we damn near have to cut twice a week now.
