P.S. - I am not totally convinced that the spinal cord is severed. If both legs are paralyzed due to severed spine, the tail would also be immobile.

ticks
disc
my old toy dog got GME, Granulomatous meningoencephalitis, and he went out to pee one morning and we found him laying in the yard.

Too soft hearted to kill him so he was laying around the house having to carry him out to piss. I eventually built him some splints and got him weightbearing, he learned to walk again, but couldnt jump.

Ironically, he was my wifes dog, we split up and then after all the money time and effort, she backed over him in the driveway.

Thanks for all the tips. I went to my dad and took Bear out his pen. He hadn't eaten his food from this morning. I out him on the grass and he just sat there. I tried to lay him on his side to check for ticks or sores and he bit my hand then my boot. Pretty good bite on my hand but didn't cut me. After I had him on his side he never tried getting up. He is now in doggie heaven. It sucks losing a good dog.

Anyone got a good beagle I could use this weekend?

Wait, so you didn't bother bringing the dog to a vet and getting a proper diagnosis?

OK......if the dog didn't have use of his back legs, how would he try getting up? Or did the dog just lay there and die naturally?

I bought the dog two years ago for 75 dollars. He turned out to be an awesome beagle that we hunted with 5-6 times a year. If it would've been my pet dog he would've gone to the vet. He will be missed but was not a "member" of my family.

The bullet was not mine I'm not sure of the price tag.

Yea......that's fricking stupid if you ask me. I'm not an PETA type by any means, I love to hunt, but that's plain shitty.

Yea, you paid $75 for the animal, you hunted with him a handful of times, you had no idea what was wrong with him, you went to check him out, he bit you, and you killed him.

Cliffnotes?
