Not sure what exactly is up with that, but we’ll take it!

I’ve had great hunts in south east LA. Teal, grey ducks, red head or two, pintail, ring neck, passed on summer mallards, and tried to pass on dogris, but tagged one early. No Greenheads yet.

Lost two ducks to alligator gar Wednesday. One minute they are floating dead on the pond, then they start getting tugged on like a cork. A minute later, down they went.

As the other poster said, cold front coming in. Here is SW Virginia, the past few days, thousands of robins and starlings have moved in and...out. Getting down into the teens at night here and highs in the 20's and low 30's this week.

Lot of cold weather up north. My club has contacts in the Dakotas and they’ve already migrated south. We killed more mallards this past weekend than any of the last 5 years

We have had lots of cold fronts right before the opener before, but there’s still never been this many mallards around Thanksgiving
