Thoughts on guided trips for Cypremort Point and Sabine Lake?

Anybody fish those areas during the summer?

Cypremort point is pointless to get a guide until August/September or when the river goes down

The point sucks most of the time. I would assume with all the water being released from Toledo that Sabine will be pretty fresh soon. Maybe I am wrong.

Not necessarily, Sabine has a salt line up to billy goat Pt even when the north is fresh.
Only two guides I would go with: Adam Jaynes and Dickie Coburn with preference to Adam.
Never fished with either but Adam is a young guy who lives for big fish on top.
