Can you change a suppressor from needing a keymo to direct thread?
Depends on the suppressor.

Keymo should be the standard thread pitch, should be able to unscrew keymo from the can and screw in a direct thread adapter. Unless your adapter in the can is permanent.

Technically, the 1.375”-24 threads are the standard for attachment into the suppressor, i.e. HUB adapters. I believe that was standardized by SilencerCo with the ASR mounts (I think). Now it’s the industry standard.
Silencerco
Dead Air
Rearden
Q
Griffin Armament
Liberty Precision Machine
They all support that thread size for HUB adapters. The muzzle device is what’s going to be barrel/caliber specific.
I’m starting to lean towards the Rearden stuff. I like the heat treated options they have. Kinda breaks up all of the black that’s already on the gun.

That’s exactly the point. I have keymo mounts sitting in my safe that I used on my Omega. Original question didn’t state what type of suppressor, that’s why I phrased it that way. TBAC magnus is HUB so I can easily swap between all guns.

I have a deadair sandman, and hate the keymo. Looks like an easy change to a fixed threaded adapter instead of the keymo.
