I’m starting the process of looking to buy a log splitter. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Idk but get a good one if you’re splitting live oak.

I bought the smaller one from tractor supply (22 ton I think) and that thing is all a man needs. I split up huge chunks of oak and it never bogged down. I have had it for five or six years now.

Not much to log splitter hydraulics, engine, and steel beam. High profit and highest cost is the I-beam.

Sweeney, who makes the tractor supply county line makes more than any company in the world. Reason they can buy I beams which is 99.9999% of the cost cheaper than anyone in the world in the business.
