Good for you, the Colt fan boy in me wants one badly!

Bapple, are you running a E series?

You are right. When I was shooting competition I was putting roughly 1500 rounds through my comp pistol a month. Between practice and comps.

I started using the MC operator and found it to be flawless, it sold me on springfields. Prior to that pistol I used Kimber and had many issues over about a year of use.

In the unlimited class is where you saw folks with all out race guns, usually 1911's in 38 super. I am more traditional and competed with what I carried. The MC Operator truly won me over, with the exception of spring changes and buffers the gun has been fantastic. I can honestly say mine has at least 15000 rounds through...it looks rough but is still tight.

Yes sir! A lot of purists don't like the forward slide serrations and the external extractor but she's been good to me. No complaints...

Hilton Yam endorsed the E series, and thats good enough for me. Once I finish a couple builds I have in the works I'm thinking of giving it a go.

Next OB shoot, you are more than welcome to give mine a run. I don't mind at all.
