Can a snake bite through Mucks? I have a pair of Chore Street steel toes I generally wear while in the woods.

I have a pair of Danners and I love them. Probably the most comfortable pair of boots I own.

Serious question. Has anyone ever really needed snake boots? I don't know one person that has ever been bitten on the leg while walking through the woods. Not one in 40 years.

I have an old pair of chippewas. Had to cut a V in the tops to fit my calves.

They are ok but when I have a long walk I double up socks. They arent warm and arent comfortable. I just cant rock the rubber boots unless its cold.
