Anyone know where I can buy shiners around Lake Verret? Going tomorrow and hoping to fish shiners for sac au lait if possible. Thanks

There is a bait shop and boat launch on S Bay Rd in Pierre Part. Usually have shiners

Gator Corner on 70 almost always has them, first store on right past 1 coming this way. Start selling at 5:30am. Bayside is hit or miss to get some

Caught 3 today. Water is chocolate with all the rain last weekend.

My brother only caught 6 in grassy lake yesterday. They were all slabs though.

I want to warn you if you ever come to Texas and ask for shiners they will point you to the beer section. Here those little fish are known as crappie minnows.
