A TD poster is selling his 4 stroke Yamaha for like 3400. I just installed a complete upgrade kit(Billet Impeller,Billet intake stacks,Exhaust and jet intake grate system) on it. I know he paid $1200 for the kit.

is it one of the new high output models with the turbo'd I-4? Or the older models with the NA 160hp/10,000 rpm redline I-4?

Cool deal. That's what we had, really good motors right there.

I am always shocked when I learn someone liked using one of those more than twice.
I had a 3 seater back when I lived in BR...useed it way more than twice. I set up an ice chest with rod holders and would fish off of it. I got the strangest looks from "pro" fishermen. I could go places in the spillway that none of them could get.

I've seen people do that in the marsh. It looks awfully fun.

'Tis. I would go to Raccourci sometimes and set up a drift (since I didn't have a trolling motor) and nail some specks. And at +/- 55 mph I got there pretty fast.

I have a yamaha and sea-doo both 2 stroke at my camp. Get a Yamaha. The sea-doo is always needing some kinda work to make it run right.
