Looking to do some sac-a-lait fishing in a couple weeks, what are some good places to go in these areas?

in des allmands i have only fished the north side of the lake, theirs a launch off of 3127 we used to do really well in the lake and there are two canals on the north side that we would fish but its been a few years since ive been there.i only really fish laffitte for salt water so cant help you there.now westwego is place i go most for fresh water.you can launch out of bayou segnette hwy 90 or laffitte. right now the sacs are starting to turn on, some of the spots i fish are the airport canal, dump canal, gulf canal, and west canal close to davis pond.went mardi gras day to airport canal and caught 8 sacs and 3 goggle eye on plastic.i think i would have done better but it was very windy and by 9am the had enough boats in the canal to have a parade hope this info helps.
