Then just take 190 and take your time. The spillway bridge will suck and you might well have to go 40 over that part but otherwise, you should be perfectly safe IF you have a correctly set up weight distribution hitch and a brake controller.
Legal and safe are not the same thing. You could safely tow 25k pounds with your truck if it was loaded correctly and you didn't need to go more than 20 mph.
ETA: I towed 18k with an old arse 90's half ton once. Never got on a public road with it so it didn't really matter. Absent the risk of people pulling out in front of you, people slamming on their brakes for no reason, etc you can tow a whole shitload of weight with not much truck and be perfectly fine. Alternatively I've wanted a peterbuilt towing 8k pounds before. It just depends.
I will say that if you don't have experience towing big stuff, take it easy. That's a big trailer and 18 wheelers blowing by you is going to be a white knuckle experience the first time.

Yea and it's usually extremely wrong from what I am told. I don't own a camper but have friends who do and they said theirs has a much higher pin weight than the literature states. It might make that pin weight the day they built it but it goes to shite really quick.

Tell me about it. I had a thread just last week. I ultimately decided that I will just pony up for a 3/4 ton. My wife immediately changed her RV choice to a 38 foot with 9k dry weight and now I'm worried again

Towing in South LA will be fine. You'll want to make sure it has a weight distribution hitch or your rear end is going be squatting like hell and the steering will feel extremely loose. Doable without it, but prepare for some white knuckles!

You will get sucked in towards them as they pass but dont overreact. Let the truck work and you’ll be fine. Lots of good advice in here
