Recommend a Depth/Fish Finder

Anyone have any recommendations for a good all-around depth/fish finder for inshore and lake fishing?
Anything in the 2-400 range. Not looking to drop 1500 on a depth finder.
Thanks

Lowrance elite 7 Ti is the best "cheaper" series. Simrad has some good looking units that run the same software as lowrance. If you want lowrance I'd stay away from the hook series.
$200-400 won't get you all that much. For a boat I wouldn't go less than a 7" screen. For a yak a 5" would do.

Lowrance Elite TI 7 w/ Downscan - $420
Lowrance Elite Ti 5 w/ Downscan - $499, makes no sense!!!
Unfortunately I can't fit a 7 in my dash!!
