Hitting up the causeway in the a.m., got a couple of poles rigged with rattle traps and one with a jig head and plastic. Can I rig a trailer with a jig head or does it have to be a trebble hook

take the second treble hook off of the rattle trap.

Tie 3' of monafilament to a small artificial squid.

pass line through top of squid then to treble hook.pull hook up in squid and your ready

What do i win?

Tie leader line to a regular hook, thread thru matrix shad just like a jig head except pull hook all the way thru shad body with line still attached. Cut line off of regular hook and tie on treble hook and push the eye of the treble hook up to the bottom of the shad and pull line tight. I have used a 18/20 inch leader from the rear treble hook of the trap.
