Question: boat trailer hub assembly

I have a little jet ski trailer I’m about to take on a long trip. I have the hubs off for repacking. They look in fine shape. I thought about getting a spare hub assembly, in case I have trouble. The hubs on this trailer have holes for lug bolts, not studs. I can find hub assemblies for my spindle size pretty easily, but they all have studs, not holes. Is there any reason why that wouldn’t work, as long as the bolt pattern fits my wheel? Of course, I’d need lugnuts to go with it.

Try Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, or Overton’s for those hubs...

My local TSC has ones with studs. Would they not work?

As long as bolt pattern is the same it should work

Update. Trailer parts house says I have a rare hub that is specific to EZ Loader trailers. Other spares won’t work.
