I have my concealed carry permit for Louisiana. I know MS and AL are both open carry states, so that’s not a problem traveling through those states. My question is, will Florida honor my Louisiana concealed carry permit if I’m stopped for any reason in Florida? Can it be concealed in my vehicle or do I need to have it concealed on my person?

Visit Handgunlaw.us for all state laws pertaining to firearms.

Since we have reciprocity with Florida, I don't think it really matters but double check to verify.

Yes. Honored in Florida. Just make sure if you get stopped that you hand him your permit along with your driver's license. Don't make him ask for it after he has run your license check.

Good point Tigre. That's the law in some states like SC and a professional courtesy in others. It DEFINITELY earns you brownie points.
