Pump sand or batture dirt for under slab?

Need to fill my form approx 20”. I have batture available for $16.50 and pump sand for $12. Need ~350 cy. Both prices are placed and compacted.
I’m worried that the pump sand will give me issues in my footings once they’re dug if it rains.
Thoughts either way?

Go with the cheapest is how I look at it since it's under a slab. Why spend $4.50 a CY more for something that is just fill.

Compacted pump sand with optimum moisture content is an excellent fill material.
You will see an overage of your concrete material die to sloughing of the sides of your footings, but this will be minimal provided the concrete guy digs and pours without delay. The overage of concrete material will be a drop in the bucket compared to the additional $1,575 from Sand to nature using the 350 units.
