Any of you baws had good experiences finding public duck hunting land that is not so crowded in the mid west? Thinking about trying. Maybe Missouri, Oklahoma, or Kansas?

P.S. From LA

I could comment, but I am too old and feeble to properly defend myself... and they might not find may carcass when the nimrods finished with me...

As someone that lives and hunts primarily public land in OK, I would not recommend coming up here this season if you plan to hunt the eastern half of the state. Most all of the reservoirs have been well above flood stage since late May, none of these lakes are going to produce any food to hold birds this season. I’m not sandbagging you, just telling you the truth.

I can’t speak for Missouri, but a lot of the eastern half of Kansas is in the same boat as OK.
