im putting mine together this week. Little late, but I think it will still work out ok. Did you use topsoil, or potting mix? I was thinking about using the miracle grow potting mix.

I planted mine yesterday... I've been doing it for three years. I don't even eat vegetables, I just enjoy planting and harvesting. I'll post pics of mine later...

Looks fantastic. Only one question. Did you lay down a root barrier on the ground before adding the dirt?

The reason I ask is that those bushes might close enough to fill up that bed with roots in a year or two.

I learned this the hard way...thought I was PLENTY far enough away from wax leaf ligustrums. WRONG!

i did lay down plenty of cardboard first, for two reasons. First to prevent grass from growing underneath, and second to promote worm.

Pics of mine... Keep in mind, I'm in the city (Kenna Bra). The huge water oak in my backyard prevents me from doing anything larger than this.

Not bad for the space provided. Cucumbers will love that lattice. I'm guessing you get morning sun to 6+ hours after.

The sun situation isn't best. This is on the east side of the property, so as soon as the sun clears the fence the garden gets the sun. I have a live oak in the front that blocks some sun as well.
