Incorrect. MS game warden makes quick call to County judge to retrieve state's property off of your land. Warrant issued. Landowner now has opened up his whole property for investigation/seizure with warrant.

I've seen it tried multiple times, only time I've seen one go unretrieved is when they couldn't prove they shot the animal and where, Dunleith in Natchez couple years ago.
