Don't you have to throw in a fad factor in there? It will need new tires so there's a grand I'll have to put into it.

Can't say id recommend the boggers although you can almost assuredly sell them on Craigslist or a Jeep Facebook group.

Speaking of that, join some Fb jeep groups. Way better prices typically

Searchers. Phil does good work

Another vote for Searchers. Probably not the cheapest (but is that always a good thing) but definitely quality work.

If I were putting a lift on, I would go with Terraflex or AEV.

Sorry if this has already been posted in the thread.

What is the best wrangler specific forum that y'all use?

What model Jeep? When I had my JK I used the JK specific forums as each model Jeep has its own unique issues/needs. Also Wrangler Forum was pretty good.

I post mainly on Jeep forum. There are specific sub forums for any type of Jeep ever made. Technical discussions as well as general info. Lots of users so you get lots of feedback as well.

I still have an account on there from my WK2.

Just didnt know if one forum had better traffic than another; wranglerforum, jeepforum, jkforum, there's just soo many.

Used this site a lot. Was a pretty good site till wayoflife got all butt hurt and started banning people for talking about and using products that were not sponsors. This spun another JK forum but cant think of the name off hand.

Hold out for a 4.0, it's a world of difference in it and a 2.5. Plus they last forever.

You can do better in a YJ than that. I'd wait.

The main thing I want in it is to have air conditioning. It's that only for my girlfriend. All the other ones that are in my price range have everything but that.

Is it really true to wait til fall/winter months for the best prices?

If you put a shade top on, you really dont need AC. I havent run the AC on mine in years. I run doors off, roof on. Only time it is really bad is stop and go hwy traffic.

Looks clean. For the price it's still high IMO. Of course any jeep I own will be lifted on at least 35s meant for the rocks. If you're just gonna cruise with the top off it'll work. But you're gonna spend quite a bit of change making it look "like a jeep". Let someone else's pocket take that hit. I found a Jeep on 44s, full hydro steer, one ton axles, V8 swap for $8000 to give you an example.

That's why like that rio grande. Sure it's a 4 cyl., but everything is done that I would do to it. It would need new tires though. I've never owned a 4cyl or 6cyl Jeep though so I don't have any experience with how they drive. Im just wanting to cruise down to PC with my girl with the top down and possibly dirt road rides at night. By no means am I trying to make a rock crawler out of it.
