Where Did you Sleep Last Night

The only time I'd ever heard this song was from Nirvana Unplugged. I was listening to Jamey Johnson at Farm Aid this year and he played it. It was surprising, but sounded badass.

Todays country is terrible

I am a rock kind of guy, love hard rock, old school metal but always liked country until somewhere in the 80's or 90's when it became pop. My wife listens to it so it's safe to say it's on her car presets and it f'king sucks today. Modern rock isn't much better though.

Very true. What little good rock was left disappeared by the end of the 90's IMO. I leave my truck on either a classic rock station or country most of the time, and country legends if the regular country stations start playing too much pop shite.

I have a theory on this.. Every melody has been done, every lyric has been written and every combination put together. Basically it's almost impossible to write a good, new decent song anymore.

That old Time-Life country music infomercial they show at two in the morning is something I watch all the way through.
