And I know the north side just sold off it's federal services division.
I was told they sold the whole damn thing, not just Fed Services. Person that told me this said they could now be one entity since the company that was buying them (investment firm) is American. Right now they are treated as two separate companies since foreign companies have to adhere to special security standards to handle federal contracts.

Why the heck did this thread get anchored? OB trying to help other OBers and it gets the anchor?

Morgus - are you involved in the hiring for that job you posted or were you just people helping people? I submitted a resume online for it yesterday.

I'm not involved in the hiring, but it's my company and I knew the OB would be a good place to find a fit for the role. It's perfect for someone who likes the outdoors, making their own schedule, doesn't like a boss breathing down their neck and doesn't like going into an office or cubicle

Well put in a good word for the guy from Flowood who applied. I'm in sales right now, but not happy. I like the idea of what you're saying though. Any way to get a foot in the door for the opening. I can shoot you any other info you may need by email if you had any tips. I appreciate the post though. It's a job I am very interested in and wouldn't know it existed if it hadn't been from that post.

Anyone with a construction management background or safety credentials looking for a job the company I work for will possibly be hiring a couple of guys in the upcoming month and is trying to get some resumes to start looking at. If you want, just email your resume to me and I'll send on to our EH&S Manager. Or if you just have questions related to the job you can email me as well. killswitchtd at gmail . com
