That does sound delicious.

The ones that I caught, however, were not. I don't recommend it. Hard to describe the taste but you could definitely taste the bayou in them, similar to choupique. I am going to Orange Beach next week so I'm going to Sea N Suds to try theirs.

Mullet is considered a trash fish in my household. The only thing they are good for is bait for catching other fish. Bull reds love half a mullet, but of course very soon, you can't keep a red over 27".
