Nice sized snapper. I’m down in the back and had to pass on a couple of invites, but of my friends that went, from Venice, Fourchon and Vermillion Bay, none of them caught any size. And these guys are all experienced snapper fisherman. So I’d say you had a great trip. And yeah, the ones that went Sunday got their asses whipped coming in and Monday was a big no.

I’ve seen a couple of guys make their own using hard plastic shrimp baskets and pool noodles. It’s on my to-do list as soon as I get back to the coast and find a basket. With the number of sharks I’ve seen EVERYWHERE the past few years, I’m not keen on tying stringers to my waist like I’ve always done

She may have been 8
There were several big ones on that rig
Its just a pain in the arse when the big ones get aggressive.

Sharks are usually chill. But they can definitely be assholes.
