Yeah, I'd say so.

The only reason I will plant any cotton next year is just so we will not lose our gin. Once your gins close down they do not come back. But it is tough to do with the price of grain compared to cotton. It is getting crazy what it cost to put in a cotton crop.

We're not planting any cotton next year... As of right now... It will be like the second time to not have any cotton since my dad and uncle started farming.
The wheat straw is probably pulling the rotor down because it's probably still a little damp. Didn't it rain across the whole South Sunday night? 63 bushel beans will shade the old straw enough to where it won't dry out worth a damn with these short days and heavy dews we're having. We burn all of our wheat straw.
We planted 600 acres of wheat beans this year and had pretty good success under pivots on some pretty sorry ground. I think they averaged 45-50. We're going to increase that to about 1000 acres this year.
eta: Those beans are gorgeous. I love narrow row beans that are really good. We don't even own a narrow row planter. We plant our wheat with a Row Gator and do alls, and plant the beans on 38's.

How much fuel does that thing burn at 97% load?
It's gotta be atrociousness.
