Got one from a buddy for free. I know they are pieces of shite but has anybody had any luck modifying them in any way to make them cycle more dependently? Not looking to drop $400 on a pocket pistol just yet. Thanks in advance.

Free paper weight at this point. If you don't have any pertinent info then move along.

I wouldn't depend on that gun for my life...It isn't even worthy of going down in the next boating accident

Haha. Straight trade should go over well with my dealer. If the thing is useless, fine, but I'm not melting it down just yet. Fires ok, just won't cycle.

Ole Geauxt is the board Lorcin expert. Wait for his advice and see what he says.

Or is it Raven? Either way, he'll know what to do.

I never thought I would see the day when we had a Lorcin titled thread on the OB.

With all the knowledge on here I figured I would either learn an easy fix for a shitty pistol or be assured that I was correct in thinking it was garbage. Mission accomplished

Flip it upside down and use it as a hammer.

I thought I was the only person that had one of these. Bought it brand new for $50 in 1991.

I just leave it in an unlocked camper in the woods now just so my brother will have a gun he can stick in his pocket when he goes to check cameras, fill feeders, etc.

I'm planning on it being my movie theater, etc, pistol unless I heard some horror stories from anybody in here. Sounds like its reputation has kept anybody from even having any experience with it. My carry piece is a little bulky for certain situations but I am not downsizing from it because I'm too comfortable with it.
