Looking for a starter recurve bow

Never really shots bows before except for a few shots from a compound bow but I'm looking for a decently priced starter recurve bow that I could still use for hunting. Any recommendations?

Either Bear or Martin. They both make pretty good entry level production bows.

I shoot a Bob Lee that I love, but probably a little more than you want to start out with. You should look on ebay. Many people think they want to get into traditional bows but then sell them pretty cheap after a few months

You can also check out the classified on tradgang.
Great site and there a ton of very knowledgeable trad archers there. Start with a lower poundage bow. There are tons of 45# bows you can find. Once you get hooked you can get Tim Mullins at Acadian Woods to make you one
