Spending the weekend camping at Little Black Creek in MS. Any tips on bank fishing?

Live 20 mins from it.. stay there a few times a yr. Nice camp ground.. but fishing is terrible. I have taken my boat and fished it 3 days straight multiple times and only caught maybe 2 small bass total. You have kids goin? If so take crickets and let them catch some small bream at the pond

Was hoping for good fishing there. We’ll be staying in a few weeks as well.
