7 foot medium for top water and maybe a crankbait. 6'6 to 7' MH for pretty much every thing else. I just don't fish a real long rod. I fish Falcon Cara T7, falcon lowriders and a shimano crucial. I will be buying some of the lowrider salt and falcon coastal rods for my saltwater setups soon.
12 to 15 years ago the red allstar rods were great some were the castaways.

The micro series rods from allstar are probably some of the best rods allstar makes. They are $99 at academy. The allstar classic series are pretty good rods for the price as well (I think they are $49).
I also like the castaway skeleton series rods.
