Just booked a shared trip with Fairwater II charters on a 42’ boat (max 18 people). I have no experience with a shared charter or fishing this many people on a boat at once. Should I expect to be frustrated by walking over people/tangled lines/etc or is it generally a decent trip?

Enjoy the boat ride, set the expectations low, make the best, and pack plenty of beer.

Have been on that boat, 15/16 years ago. Red snapper limit was 4 at the time and we had our 16 pretty quick. If it is the same family of captains, they have been fishing on that boat and the I for around 40 years. If it is that same captains now, they know their stuff for wreck/rig/reef fishing.

Fished with them last year on our family vacation. We had a group of 10 and caught a limit of real nice snapper pretty quickly. Had one that went about 20lbs. If I was going to do a trip like that again, I'd go with them.
