Going up to Lake St. John next weekend. I've never fished up there. Anyone have some experience on that lake?

Never fished it, but I'll say it has water in the lake.

I've heard that. Really looking forward to fishing for those under the lights at night.

Grew up with a camp there. What you want to know?

Bream: As good as it gets. Crickets are the bait. NE Side of the lake along trees and reeds.
Catfish: Very Good. Nightcrawlers on bottom just about anywhere on the lake.
Bass: KVD 3.5 off ends of pier.

During the day, should I be ready to fish with plastics, spinnerbaits, topwater for bass? Fish the trees or the camp docks? I assume medium diving crankbaits for the stippers under the lights at night? Are crappie worth targeting at all or should we just stick to bass? Thanks
