LA One Card Update?

Anybody know of a way to update an LA One Card if possible? Or do you have to just buy a new one?

Have to mail it to them with more money. Might be like $100 from what I can remember.

I got mine updated from them but I do not remember paying. It may be because it was a recent purchase closer to when the update came out.
