Fishing the last cut to the ship channel and throw my grandfathers 6500 into the abyss, all of 10 feet. Thought about jumping in after it but, no. Anybody retrieve it I'll give the rod and 50.00 dollars. The specks were there but small.

Damn, sorry to hear that VP. I’ll keep an ear out if I see/hear anything about it. Hopefully the current doesn’t move it off the rocks because some is bound to catch it there. That place is always packed

Did the exact thing with an ambassador 5000 at Cameron jetties . Wrote it off and bought another .

Those specks are some slimy arse fish, but taste good.
