Do the launch and slips hold enough water year round for it to be a viable place to launch/store your boat?

I grew up in a hunting camp down the street in the 90s and early 00s right on that cove and I remember that it would get pretty dry during duck season. Looking at google maps you can see the lines from lower units in the mud leading up to the launch. Anyway, anyone familiar with it nowadays?

I've never had a problem with a 22ft blue wave. They recently dredged also.

Ah, good to know! Do you keep your boat there or just use the launch?

Buddy of mine FIL had a camp there. Never used it, always went to the public launch. It has a lot of potential but I believe the owners don't give a frick. They own all the lots adjacent and charge monthly for camps, people who build will never own.

Launch has been fixed up but winter time especially all of the water in Joes will get blown out so the launch and slips would be dry. Even big tides around new and full moon water can get low at low tide but that seems to happen more during the night.

If theres enough water to launch you should be able to get to the cut to the ship channel just North of Dugas. South of Dugas going into Joes Cove even in the boat lane it can get real shallow.

I tried to go wade at night a few weeks ago in Joe's during the new moon with a North wind and water dropped out and was less than 1.5' all the way across Joe's. Had to putt putt all the way back to the camp.
