In the summer of 2007, I hooked up on a ton of Jack Crevalle near Eden Isles in Slidell. I haven't seen one since and was wondering if other folks have seen any recently. It seems like that year had a particularly busy storm season and that could have increased the salinity or something.

Pound for pound, those SOBs are as tough as any thing offshore and a helluva lot of fun to fight. I just can't find 'em anymore.
