I'll admit I didn't know much about bows when I got it. But since I've gotten in to it and shot others, I have to say I'm satisfied. I've shot friends Hoyts and Mathews and I can't bring myself to think they are worth the money for what I need. I hunt in thick shite. 30 yards is the most I'll need.

i hear ya. im not a "big" bowhunter myself and not a fanboy of all the latest bows so i wasnt spending 1000 on a bow. I have $350-400 in this one rigged out and it shoots lights out at 40 yards in (all ive practiced) when i took it to my bow shop who is a matthews dealer to get it paper tuned he drew it and shot it a couple times and did it a look over and said what the hell is this, then said its one of the smoothest draws he has pulled.. when i told him i payed $250 brand new for it he about shite
