Last weekend of the season here, I'd been watching the weather all week to decide which day to go. Up to last night, Sunday looked worse in terms of rain - all day hourly above 40%. Today showed some low spots, 20% for a while early. So I got up, got dressed. Radar says there's rain everywhere. Well, I'll drive out. Ok, I drove out there, might as well hike. Ok, I hiked, might as well climb. It rained all day. But I climbed - might as well stay. I basically slippery-sloped myself into sitting in the rain all day. I heard some shots midday, not close. Didn't see anything but a rabbit on my hike back in.

I'm grateful for the 2 bucks I got during the rut in November. Sucky last day though.
