We have the same thing going on in Florida. It seems to be getting worse in the past few years. I visit a lot of bad areas in my profession and I personally think it is far worse in lower class ares compared to better areas of the city. There seems to be a demographic link to the problem (I'm trying to be politically correct) You go to the Wal Mart areas of the city and there is shite everywhere. People will just throw shite out of their car windows without any regard. It is a shame.

Our waterways are pretty clean. Green jeans will bust your arse if they see any littering going on down here.

No doubt. People who've never had shyt don't take care of others' shyt.

People who have things know what it's like to have others not be considerate of their property so they are more in tune with taking care of others.

Even the kid in HS with a camp learns how others can dirty up a place. When the camp-owning kid goes to another's camp, he's mindful of dirty boots, etc.

to me the worst are the smokers...I live along a major street and when I mow the lawn, the hidden butts in the grass along the street magically quadruple in size when the mower blade hits them...

Things have apparently changed in 15 years.

First time I went through Canada the exchange rate was 1.48. Americans flocked to Canada to buy stuff.

It was squeaky clean too.
