There is a good chance a bear will be chipped.
The point is to not bring government firepower down upon yourself.
Uncle Sugar placed destructive animals here and will defend them with the barrel of a gun.

Shooting to injure something or having it suffer on purpose is the lowest form of pond scum.

I can’t believe some people believe all the bears are chipped and the gov’t tracks them by satellite. They can track the ones with gps collars but not chips.I doubt many are chipped, how would they all be rounded up to put chips in them.
I had a guy tell me this, that they were all chipped and gov’t tracked them. The guy is a principal of a school, all I could think was no wonder Louisiana schools were so crappy.
It’s almost as crazy as the story about how the gov’t strung nets across the Mason Dixon line to keep ducks from migrating to Louisiana.Guy told me that was dead serious,he believed it.

So we abandoned the feeder idea and guess what...we never see bears anymore
I have a place in Tensas. I abandoned feeders 3 years ago. Still have plenty of bears.

For those that always say "bears were here first".
Just look at what farmers in Wyoming and Montana, etc have to deal with now because game officials repopulated wild Wolves into the region. They were killed off from the area for a reason.
Plus, why doesnt everyone just put freshwater sharks in their lakes and ponds? After all, they were here about 70 million years before anything else. Same logic.
