This is a fallacy. The antis and PETA have almost no power to do anything. You want to know who does? Soccer Moms. People who currently have no opinion. Hunters must police themselves. Now, I'm not saying high fence issue is one that would turn somebody, but just because it's legal does not mean all hunters should support it. Plenty of things were legal in the past that none of us would support today.

On the issue itself, I'm against it. Not only would I not enjoy it, it is in effect the capture of animals. The land owner has taken possession of animals belonging to the people. The only way I would support is would be with some sort of buffer between the fenced area and that owner's boundary.

Absolutely 100% correct. Questionable practices will doom hunters, not the animal rights groups. Hunters get a bad name because of hunters, not their opposition. Shooting animals in oversized cages is going to deserve some harsh reaction.
