Gun Dog ok to eat deer scat?

New home has deer pretty much every night coming through the backyard. I assume it's ok but I catch my Vizsla attempting to eat the deer scat all the time. He manages to get one nugget before I get to him. What parasites or disease can he get from that or is it not a big deal?

LOL...I knew that was going to be a response. I can't. I'm in a neighborhood and have neighbor to the rear of the house.

Probably not as bad as the cat scat my lab eats, compliments of my neighbors cats.
